Dueco, in conjunction with ODYNE, has developed a Plug-In Hybrid electric Vehicle (PHEV) for use with aerial lifts, digger derricks, and utility gas bodies. The DUECO PHEV includes a propulsion system designed to reduce or eliminate fuel consumption and emissions for a typical workday. The unit can be recharged at off hours using low cost electricity from the grid, but also can be recharged at any point with the conventional diesel engine.
